Microchips & Registration for cats and dogs in Warringah

Here at Petmates we are regularly asked by pet owners about registration and identification, mostly from people who have recently move to the Manly / Northern Beaches area.  Make sure you are within the law with the info below.

Most companion animals are microchipped at 12 weeks and then registered by the time they reach six months, but if you have moved to a new area, you could be at risk of fines if you do not update your pets information.

The link below provides you with the information, fees and forms you need for each process.

Another important identification law for dogs is to make sure they also have a tag and collar when out in public areas.  The tag must have the dogs name and phone number or address.
