Tracey has been first-class in providing our dog with a walk 2-3 times a week. Tracey distinguishes herself in always going the extra mile to meet the clients requirements, even if they are very last minute. Tracey also projects a genuine passion and care for her profession, always contacting us regularly to let us know how Oscar is doing, and if all is ok. She even sent Oscar a birthday card and present for his birthday which typifies how much Tracey loves the job she does.

Thanks for walking Rupert over the past few months - being a puppy we were worried he would get too lonely during the day while we were at work. Several months into our relationship, Tracey has shown an affinity with animals that results in her gaining the trust and respect of even naughty Doberman pups like our Lucy was. Tracey’s visit has become a highlight of Lucy’s week, and we anticipate that this is a long-term relationship for all of us. It is a relief to have someone we can trust (with our house and loved one) to help us in the development of our baby from a crazy puppy into a caring family member. I can recommend Tracey without reservation; she is knowledgeable and professional. Lucy loves her totally.

“We hadn’t considered using a pet minding service to look after our house rabbit before, as we felt somewhat uneasy about having a stranger in our home. As soon as we met Tracey we felt really comfortable with her, and knew she was someone we could trust to look after our pet, as well as our home. The rates were also a lot less than we had anticipated. Tracey took great care of Smithy, and even sent us photos from her phone, so that we could see what Smithy was up to while we were away. We came home to find a happy rabbit, the mail waiting in the kitchen, and the plants watered. It’s great to know we have found such a reliable and friendly person, and we will certainly use Tracey to look after Smithy again in the future.”

"Having Tracey look after our two cats while we are away is like them having a second mum, so I have had absolutely no hesitation in leaving them in her care. Our last trip overseas was for rather an extended length of time, but Tracey took it all in her stride, including taking one of our cats to the vet for repeated treatment. Both of our babes seem to flourish in her care, and her updates and photos always show them looking very contented. Lulu being my pride and Dinky my joy, I was reluctant to hand their care over to just anybody. Knowing that the girls are my raison d'être, my veterinary nurse would only recommend Tracey from Petmates Pet Services.
Any lingering concerns I held about a new person walking Lulu and Dinky were very quickly allayed when I met Tracey for the first time. Her wealth of experience and genuine love of animals was evident in both how she interacted with Lulu and Dinky and the time she spent with me going through each of their individual personalities and preferences. After a few days of getting to know them, Tracey had both the girls "off-lead" and was giving them a solid hour of play time each day (they enjoyed a solid 5 hours nap afterwards).
Tracey also worked methodically with Lulu to correct a number of behavioural problems (chasing and growling at some of the other dogs) After 6 weeks we have noticed a discernible improvement in Lulu's behaviour, she is far more pleasant towards her canine fellows and less stressful to walk. I would recommend Tracey and Petmates to any dog owner looking for a trusted, experienced and kind carer for their furry companions. L & D Oldfield Aug 09
I always had a nightmare worrying about my two cats Max and Paddy whilst I was away on holiday and whether they would be looked after properly and would be happy, finding out about Petmates has changed that. I had peace of mind knowing that they felt comfortable in their home environment and that Tracey was taking good care of them.
She has a very personalised service where she finds out about the personality of the cats she is looking after and what they like/dislike. She is very thorough and detailed and this reflects in her service by such things as weekly SMS updates, photos and a highlights summary at the end of the service.

Tracey has been walking our border collie Taylor for quite a few months now. It is so reassuring knowing that Taylor will be getting the extra love and attention, not to mention exercise that we can’t give her when we’re not there.
Recently Tracey also looked after my cat Bailey - I have never come home to such a happy and content cat after being away for 3 weeks. The love and affection that Tracey shows my animals is just wonderful. She has the ability to read their behaviour and decipher their likes and dislikes straight away. Cassie loves going for walks with Tracey. Cassie is a very affectionate, though somewhat of a 'needy' dog, she was immediately very comfortable with Tracey and very content and happy when we return from being away if Tracey has been around to look after her. On returning home after a month away our dogs were delighted to see us. It was well behaved excitement, with Jessie looking very fit and well fed and Yogi, at 12, frisky and younger than when we left. Our dog Tuppy has never enjoyed spending time at a kennel. We were hesitant to try the stay at home route but Tracey from Petmates’ care and qualifications put our minds at ease. We have just used Petmates for the first time and would definitely recommend their pet sitting service to other pet owners. It was great to return home from our holiday to find our cats relaxed and happy, surrounded by their toys, scratching posts and tunnels, which Tracey had arranged into an ‘activity centre’ to keep them occupied in our absence! We used Petmates for group walks & pet minding. Tracey went above and beyond to ensure that Felix was exercised regularly and kept stimulated while we were away, and kept us updated with photos and messages. I have been using Petmates now for some months and have found her service to be very good. I have what I consider a pampered pet and I feel so relaxed when I leave for holidays or short breaks that my Simba is getting very good service, sometimes better than what I give. I get SMS messages to let me know how everything is going and Simba always looks in very good condition when I return. I feel so happy that I have found Petmates and feel very confident when I leave that I do not have to worry about Simba.
