Dog Walking in Northern Beaches

Helping you provide the best care for your dog whether away, at work, elderly, convalescing or just unable to do it yourself for any reason.

Fun, exercise and mental stimulation will ensure your dog is happy and content when you return home. We collect and transport your dog in our customised vehicle, utilising secure dog crates for maximum safety. Your dog is walked in a maximum group of four or individually at a beach or secure park.

Benefits of the dog walking service:

  • Extra care, attention and exercise for your dog
  • Dog walking aids in managing behaviour problems e.g. digging, chewing, hyperactivity, barking etc
  • Dog walking and play time is important to their physical development and mental stimulation
  • Gives them the correct amount of exercise they need to stay healthy and happy
  • An alternative to them being left on their own all day
  • Return home to a more relaxed, content dog

Why choose us for dog walking?

Petmates are very experienced in walking dogs and have the educated opinion that dogs are happiest in their own company. My ongoing study and qualifications in dog behaviour and training has made clear your dog will grow as an individual and be stimulated better, mentally and physically, than being on its own or solely in human company. That said - there are those special canines that require the personal service of an individual walk (e.g. not good with other dogs, recovering or elderly) this service is happily and attentively provided.

Petmates covers the Northern beaches area. We only walks dogs that are fully vaccinated and registered. We strictly follow council laws and always collect dog waste when walking our dogs.

Please contact us for further information on our dog walking service or for any special requests.

"Thank you so much for the gorgeous photos of Boo. I could really tell that she had had a great run when I came home yesterday. She was very content and settled. I am so pleased that you are able to regularly walk her, and must admit it takes a great deal of guilt away from me".
